These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the website 1in.pt. The website is owned by Strong Theory Unipessoal LDA, a legal entity registered in Portugal.

By using this website, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.

Strong Theory Unipessoal LDA provides the following automotive services:

  • Car sales from our showroom;
  • Import of vehicles from European countries;
  • Selection and purchase at auctions;
  • Vehicle buyout and trade-in;
  • Car service and diagnostics;
  • Assistance with car financing.

3. Informational Nature

The information published on this website (prices, vehicle specifications, service descriptions) is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a public offer under Portuguese law.

The actual terms of any transaction, including price, timeline, and scope of services, are determined in an individual contract between the parties.

4. Intellectual Property

All website content — text, images, graphics, logos, design, and source code — is the property of Strong Theory Unipessoal LDA or used under lawful license.

Copying, reproduction, distribution, or other use of website materials without written consent from Strong Theory Unipessoal LDA is prohibited, except for personal non-commercial use.

5. Limitation of Liability

Strong Theory Unipessoal LDA makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the information on the website, but does not guarantee:

These Terms of Service, as well as any disputes related to the use of the website and services, are governed by the laws of the Portuguese Republic.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal.

9. Changes to Terms

Strong Theory Unipessoal LDA reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The current version is always available at 1in.pt/terms.html. Continued use of the website after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Legal warranty — used car sales (B2C)

In accordance with Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021, all used cars sold by Strong Theory Unipessoal LDA to consumers benefit from the legal conformity warranty.

The warranty period is 18 months from the date of vehicle delivery, agreed in writing in the sale contract. This corresponds to the minimum statutory period set by Art. 12.º, n.º 4 of DL 84/2021 for used goods sold to consumers (B2C).

The warranty covers non-conformities existing at the time of delivery and excludes, as provided by law:

  • Normal wear of parts subject to use (tyres, brake pads and discs, clutch, filters, oils, fluids);
  • Damage from improper use, accident, lack of maintenance, or modifications made by third parties after delivery;
  • Vehicle defects expressly disclosed to and accepted by the consumer before purchase.
