The IPO is Portugal's mandatory periodic roadworthiness test — a minimum-safety check. It does not measure paint depth, read OBD history, detect repaired crash damage or gearbox wear. A car with a fresh IPO can still be a repainted write-off — that is exactly what our inspection catches.
