What we found
- Coolant leaking from the water pump; coolant level below minimum
- Blue smoke on start-up and when revving, with an unusual start-up noise
- Difficulty starting the engine and noticeably reduced performance
- Oil seepage around the sump
- Signs that an airbag cover has been opened; cloudy lamp lenses
Inspector's conclusion
We advised against buying. The inspection found issues with cooling, starting and engine performance, alongside signs of interference with an airbag cover. The findings went well beyond cosmetic wear.
