What we found

  • Corrosion on the front left door, sills and rear right quarter; signs of repainting and uneven panel gaps
  • Signs of water ingress around the roof hatch in the living area
  • A concern was recorded about the brake pedal position; rear brake discs and pads need replacing
  • Engine oil above the correct level, some emulsion in the coolant and oil seepage around the sump
  • In the living area: toilet flush not working, damaged mattresses and floor covering
  • The seller did not present the registration document (DUA); one key and no spare wheel

Inspector's conclusion

The campervan inspection identified findings in three areas: the base vehicle, the living space and the documents. Alongside corrosion and brake concerns, we recorded signs of water ingress around the roof hatch and faulty equipment. These need to be considered together, beyond the engine and mileage alone.
